Helping Alonzo in crisis

This fundraiser is for my friend Alonzo, who has been sleeping near Honduras and Shelby Drive. Alonzo is homeless, cold, and hungry, and right now he has very little support around him. On top of everything else, he recently lost his seeing-eye dog, which has made daily life even harder and more uncertain. He has been told to get off the lot where he used to sleep, and now he sleeps in the trees in a small makeshift shelter that is not enough for the cold. He often has to beg just for a drink of water. More than anything, Alonzo needs to be with his family and loved ones, especially because his mother is sick and does not have much time left.

The money raised will help Alonzo get somewhere safe to stay, food and water, and the chance to take a hot bath and recover with some dignity. It will also help support the process of replacing his seeing-eye dog and help him travel back to be with his family and sick mother. I have been helping however I can, but this need has become bigger than one person can handle alone. Please give if you can and share this fundraiser if you are able. Any support will help Alonzo get out of the cold, receive basic care, and make it back to his loved ones when it matters most.
