Help Ally create a soft play and sensory area

Hi, I’m Julie and my 13 year old son is autistic. He has been struggling the last year with lockdown etc..and hasn’t been wanting to go back to school because of anxiety. We have just managed to get him back part time as they have a soft play area and that seems to motivate him so I would love to create one for him at home as it seems to calm him and it’s a safe space if he’s distressed or frustrated. I did look at the websites to purchase some equipment but special needs equipment is extremely expensive which is really unfortunate as it really beneficial for many children like my son Ally..I just need a little help to give us a head start.
