Help Us Support Allene Truitt in Her Fight Against Cancer

Allene is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. After weeks of pain and uncertainty, she was recently diagnosed with a form of colon cancer. We are unsure what type until the pathology team takes a look but the G.I. Doctor is fairly confident that it’s adenocarcinoma. She was scheduled for surgery to remove the cancer mass on 5/21, and we are now preparing for what comes next — consultations with oncologists, potential chemotherapy or radiation, and a long road to healing.

Allene is a wife, a mother, grandmother, friend, and fighter. She’s someone who has always shown up for her family and friends — and now it’s our turn to show up for her.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Surgery and hospital bills

• Ongoing cancer treatments

• Follow-up appointments, scans, and medications

• Travel expenses to and from treatment

• Home care and recovery needs

• Any unforeseen costs that arise during this journey
