<div>Allene is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. After weeks of pain and uncertainty, she was recently diagnosed with a form of colon cancer. We are unsure what type until the pathology team takes a look but the G.I. Doctor is fairly confident that it’s adenocarcinoma. She was scheduled for surgery to remove the cancer mass on 5/21, and we are now preparing for what comes next — consultations with oncologists, potential chemotherapy or radiation, and a long road to healing.
