Hi, my name is Matteo and I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea to support the Alledawi family, who have been devastated by the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Their home in Khan Younis was completely destroyed, and they have been living in a makeshift tent on top of the ruins.
This campaign aims to raise £30,000 to provide them with basic necessities, helping them survive and rebuild their lives.
Introduction to the Family
The Alledawi family consists of five members:
Nawal (56 years old) and Mohammed (59 years old): The devoted parents who have always worked hard to provide for their children.
Nourhan (25 years old): The eldest daughter, who dreams of a future filled with peace and stability.
Reem (22 years old): The middle daughter, whose aspirations were interrupted by the war.
Raneem (17 years old): The youngest member of the family, who is determined to help his family through these challenging times.
Family Situation
Raneem told me:
"Before the war, we were a simple family, living modestly but contently. The conflict changed everything, turning our dreams into ashes and leaving us with nothing but the will to survive. After being displaced to Rafah for six months, we returned to Khan Younis only to find our home reduced to rubble. Now, we are living in a tent, struggling to meet our basic needs."

How the Money Will Be Used
We are seeking to raise £30,000, which will be used to provide the following necessities:
- Food and Water (£10,000): This will cover the cost of essential groceries, ensuring we have enough to eat and drink for at least six months.
- Hygiene Supplies (£5,000): Funds will be used to purchase hygiene products such as soap, toothpaste, sanitary pads, and cleaning supplies, crucial for maintaining our health.
- Medical Supplies and Healthcare (£5,000): This will help us access necessary medical care and medications, especially for our parents who need regular check-ups and treatments.
- Shelter Improvement (£10,000): Although we live in a tent, we need materials to reinforce it against weather conditions, and eventually, we hope to start rebuilding a more permanent shelter.

I am web developer living in the Southwest of the UK and I have been following very closely the situation in the Middle East in the past few months trying to help with fundraising campaigns. I met Raneem through her cousin and my good friend, Momin Aburaida. We have been in contact for months, and I have learned about the immense struggles the Alledawi family is facing.
