Hey everyone.. My name is Aliyah. I am a single mom of 2 and recently just moved back to Grand Rapids, MI. This year has been hard, but I've been hanging on and making it work.

Following moving back here, things have been going downhill due to me not being able to work with no daycare for the kids. I am working on getting them in daycare and have a job lined up to start, but they are taking forever. Should know more about my start date tomorrow. I am currently living in my car and need $1500 to be able to move into my apartment. I had the money for it, but circumstances changed, and I had to spend the money on getting hotel rooms so my daughter wasn’t sleeping in the car.

*I know people are going to ask about any benefits I have applied for* - I have food stamps, WIC, and am working on child care assistance. I also know the holidays just passed, so it might be tight, but anything helps. Thank you & God bless y’all!
