Help Bring Clinical Research and Jobs to Rural Missouri
Hi, I’m Alisha Moore, and I’m building what has never existed in my town — a thriving clinical research ecosystem that empowers communities, creates jobs, and provides access to life-changing healthcare trials.
I’m the CEO of Clinical Science Research Solutions (CSRS) and the Founder of I.A.M. Research & Wellness Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. I’m also the visionary behind the Clinical Science Research Solutions Research Institute Academy, a growing educational hub for clinical research professionals.
Right now, I’m actively working on opening a clinical trial site in Sikeston, Missouri and nearby counties — a region that has never had a clinical research presence.
Why This Matters
In Sikeston and many rural areas like it, we face a harsh reality:
- No clinical trials
- No infrastructure
- No local job opportunities in research
- And no access to cutting-edge therapies
That means people in our own community — seniors, children, cancer patients, those with chronic illnesses — miss out on the opportunity to participate in research that could save or extend lives.
I’m changing that.
What I’ve Built So Far
Clinical Science Research Solutions — A strategic consulting and site readiness firm helping hospitals, sites, and professionals break into the clinical research industry.
CSRS Research Institute Academy — An online training platform offering courses like:
- Healthcare to Research Accelerator Academy
- Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
- Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
- Principal Investigator (PI) development
Mentorship Programs — Supporting aspiring site owners, hospital systems, and even CRO/sponsor teams on building diverse, audit-ready research capacity.
Site Development — Actively establishing a clinical trial site right here in Sikeston, MO.
Upcoming Milestones
October 23–24, 2025: We are hosting our first online clinical research conference under our nonprofit — the SPARK Conference (Site Preparation and Advancement for Research Knowledge).
2026: Launch of our in-person clinical research conference, featuring workforce training, policy change conversations, and sponsor-CRO matchmaking for underrepresented communities.

This isn’t just about healthcare access — it’s about economic transformation in a community that’s long been overlooked.
My Journey
I hold a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science and a Master’s in Biology. I worked over 12 years in the hospital setting — first as a phlebotomist, then as a lab scientist. In 2021, I transitioned into clinical research, working with some of the largest CROs and sponsors in the industry.
Since then, I’ve:
- Spoken at 3 clinical research conferences
- Featured on several podcast interviews and radio station 97.9
- Partnered with organizations like S.O.S. Save Our Sites, UpTrials, and in the process of certifying to become a CRIO partner.
- Mentored future site owners and professionals from across the country
I launched CSRS in July 2023 to close the education gap in clinical research — and I haven’t looked back.
We’re Building a Movement
This GoFundMe campaign will help fund both nonprofit and for-profit initiatives — because this work requires both community engagement and business infrastructure. Together, they will:
- Create local jobs in Sikeston and surrounding areas
- Train a diverse new workforce
- Attract sponsors and CROs ready to diversify trial locations
- Make research accessible to families right here in Southeast Missouri
Let’s Build What’s Never Been Built Here Before
Whether you donate $10 or $10,000, you are helping us lay the foundation for something historic.
Your support helps me prove that rural doesn’t mean incapable — it means untapped.
Thank you for believing in the mission. Let’s bring clinical research home.
