A father of four children struggling with hunger, fear, and disease, living in the shadow of genocide, famine, and war. At the beginning of the war, they lost their grandparents, uncles, their aunt's family, and many, many friends, loved ones, and neighbors. It didn't end there.
Last August, they were displaced from their home, which was destroyed, leaving it with all their belongings, clothes, and furniture.
We searched hard for a suitable place, but all we got was displacement and relocation to poor places due to fear and destruction.
My children, the eldest, Nour, lost everything, even her education and her sister Habeeba.
Osama and Yahya grew up in the shadow of war. Osama, who is 3 years old, has not lived a peaceful day in his life.
He does not know how to play, nor does he know the taste of most foods, fruits, or the needs of children. As for Yahya, who is one year old, he has been deprived of everything, even his milk, which we cannot provide due to its high price. Diapers are also difficult to obtain.
He suffered from malnutrition, delayed growth and teething, as well as difficulty walking and moving. Help him provide for even a little of his needs.
Even their most basic needs, such as flour and vegetables, are beyond my control due to the high price, after we lost our source of income in the war.
