Alexander Hoff is a seventeen year old south side Chicago native. He has been involved in Scouting(BSA) for ten years and has begun his final community project to become an eagle scout. He has done everything from refurbishing church signs to helping local Chicago food pantries. His hobbies outside of scouting include archery and video games.

He is partnering with Outreach Chicago to provide hygiene care packages for the local homeless. Every dollar counts towards reaching the goal. Anything over the goal will be donated as non-perishable food or other necessities for the homeless. Alexander will be preparing these packages with your donations. The outreach program will then deliver these packages directly to those most in need.

Alexander is working with Melvin Bridgemon, the president of the Outreach Chicago organization and navy veteran. At one point Mr. Bridgemon was homeless for a couple of years, sadly like many other vets. Once he finally got back up on his feet he made it his mission to help other people like him. When Alexander met with him he conveyed his enthusiasm for this cause and how he weaves fairness into everything he does. He makes it a point to give out all the same things so everyone can get equal amounts, whether that be food or hygiene products. Mr. Bridgemon made it clear that all of these packages had to be the same.
