Help Alex & Jude start their new life together

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re Jude and Alex, and we’re reaching out with hopeful hearts during a big moment in our lives.

After a long journey, Jude has finally moved to the U.S. to marry Alex (me) and begin our life together as a family. Alongside my two wonderful young children, we’ve recently been given the opportunity of a lifetime to take over the rent of my parents’ home—a big, beautiful step forward from our current situation and a real opportunity to make a stable, loving home of our own, in a community that is safe, has good schools, and is potentially the foundation for our forever.

However, as exciting as this new chapter is, it comes with challenges. Jude is currently legally unable to work or earn income until we’re able to officially apply to adjust his status and begin the green card process. The application alone costs $1,400—a steep amount when combined with rent, food, utilities, childcare needs, and all the day-to-day expenses that come with raising a young family.

For the first time, we’re realizing we need to ask for help.
