Help Alex Give Back to the Community that helped him!

Hi, my name is Alex, and I’m living proof that recovery is possible by running the Stafford Half Marathon on 23rd March 2025 to raise money for the organisation that helped me achieve freedom from my addiction.
Not too long ago, I was lost in addiction. My world was small, dark, and hopeless. I had tried to fight my way out so many times, but I always seemed to end up back in the same place—broken, alone, and believing I wasn’t strong enough to change.
Then I found Chase Recovery, a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation that changed everything for me. Unlike anything I had experienced before, Chase Recovery was built by people who had walked in my shoes—people who truly understood. They gave me the support, the tools, and most importantly, the hope that I could turn my life around.
With their help, I did just that. Today, I have freedom from addiction. I have purpose in my life. I wake up every day grateful for the second chance I’ve been given.
Now, it’s my turn to give back.
I’m raising money to support Chase Recovery so they can continue doing what they do best—helping people just like me find a way out of addiction and into a life worth living. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to supporting this incredible organisation, funding resources, and safe spaces for people who desperately need them.
If you’ve ever known someone who has struggled with addiction, you know how important it is to have the right support. Chase Recovery was there for me when I needed them most. Let’s make sure they can be there for the next person who walks through their doors, looking for hope.
Please donate if you can, and share this page to help spread the word.
Together, we can give others the same chance I had—the chance to live again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
