Alex and Nick Genovese are headed to college in the fall. After the sudden and tragic loss of their beloved father Joe this past January, the family needs our support to see the boys off to start their careers.

Nick is excited about a future in technology and is planning to attend SUNY Binghamton for computer science.

Alex is passionate about Digital Media and is still considering both Hofstra and SUNY New Paltz.

Those of us who have had the great fortune to have the Genovese family in our lives know how highly they value learning and service. The boys' parents Joe and Julie have spent their careers working in libraries, carrying forward the passion Joe's mom brought to reading as a librarian in the children's department of the East Meadow library. Joe's dad was a highly-respected lifelong professor at St. John's University where he taught math and physics to generations of students.
