Hi! My name is Pat and I’m helping my friends Alex and Emily relocate to a new state for their safety.

Alex and Emily are trans and are currently experiencing transphobia and discrimination in their home state. Emily was abruptly fired from her job (without cause) and their landlord has threatened them with eviction. Alex is facing chronic health issues (Tumefactive Multiple Sclerosis). They are having a tough time right now, and relocating to a safer state (with better healthcare) is their best option.

I'm going to be driving across the country to help them move here where I live - but it's taking almost all of our savings to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Funds will help with the moving process and help Alex and Emily set up a new life.

This is taking place really fast and I will be starting this cross country drive in the next week. I’ll try to post updates here.
