Hi all, the picture you see above is that of my good friend Alesha's little boy Jace. Jace is funny, kind and incredibly smart. The other thing about Jace that most can't see in this picture is that he has a serious medical issue with his lungs. Alesha works hard everyday to make sure that Jace can breathe properly and be as normal as he can be with all of these issues. His doctors at TCH have decided it's time for him to have a fairly serious surgery on January 31st. Because of all of the medical appointments, pre op stuff and trying her best to keep him healthy (along with his brother Connor) Alesha is struggling financially to both do the drive almost daily to Texas Childrens and take care of her monthly bills. She has her own Salon, which is fabulous, but since she is spending so much time taking care of Jace, it's not getting the use that she would like. And because he is having a 8-10 hour surgery next week, she is going to get even further behind because she will need to be at the hospital with him. Please if you feel led, help this hard working mom take care of her family.
