Our childhood friends who are more like family, Alene Ortiz, Zulma Ortiz and Zulma's children, Samarah and Jordan Gomez, have suffered a devasting fire on Tuesday, February 10,2026, that destroyed their home and everything they owned including cherished memories and belongings.

While we are incredibly thankful that they are safe they have lost their home, clothing, furniture etc.,

If you know the Ortiz family, you know of their selflessness and how genuine they are. They are always looking to help and comfort others despite their own circumstances.

Now they need our support as they are now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over. As friends and family, we are trying to raise $50,000 to help them secure a safe place to stay and start replacing the basics.
