Hello my name is Jovita and I am raising money to help with my nephew Alejandro's medical bills. On his 21st birthday he was in a horrible motorcycle accident resulting in extensive life threatening injuries. He currently resides in my home country of Guatemala were medical treatment is paid out of pocket only. I have been a citizen of the United States for more than 20 years and I have been able to get a personal loan to assist my family with some of his medical bills; but its still not enough. I am nervous asking for additional help but the burden for me and family here and in Guatemala is just too much. So I find myself asking for any help that folks have in their heart to give.

Alejandro is currently hospitalized with severe head trauma and several fractured bones.

He is a caring, hardworking young man who has always been there for others, no questions asked — now family is at his side doing everything they can. But the medical costs in Guatemala are extremely high due to the remote location and access of care that he needs. We need any assistance for him to receive the proper treatment and rehabilitation.
