The pictures I used to take were full of life and love, and now they were black and opaque, full of blood and body parts. My safe children, their innocent features turned into shock and fear.As you know, journalists here are targeted, so I decided to save myself and my family.

I left the profession that I loved, We lost everything, our home, my husband’s job, and our only source of livelihood. We have become homeless due to the indiscriminate bombing that has been going on for 4 months without mercy. We fled from one area to another to escape, but death chased us everywhere, and then we found ourselves inside a small tent, shivering from fear and cold... My little Alaa, who had not yet completed his second year, his little body was torn apart by the cold and malnutrition, my little Aisel. She dreamed of completing kindergarten, before the bombing killed half of her classmates. Will you help us? Or will the day come when I watch my children being burned by a missile that does not differentiate between anyone? We are all targets here. We are victims here, helpless. We want to raise a sum of money so that the rest of us can survive and leave this cruel country. And create a life and a future for my children like other children in the world.
