Today, our dear family friend and neighbor, Alan Ha, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A fire began in an RV on the property behind his home, and the flames quickly spread to Alan’s house. The fire reached the attic, causing catastrophic damage throughout the home. Much of the attic burned, the ceilings collapsed, and thousands of gallons of water from fire hoses flooded the interior while firefighters worked to save what they could.

At this time, Alan’s home has been rendered unlivable. His belongings have been devastated by smoke, water, and debris from the collapsed ceilings. In an instant, Alan lost the comfort and security of his home and now faces the overwhelming challenge of finding temporary housing, replacing essential items, purchasing food, clothing, and beginning the long process of recovery.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount will go directly toward helping Alan with temporary housing, food and daily necessities, clothing and personal essentials, replacing damaged belongings, and immediate emergency expenses during recovery.
