Hello, my name is Sasha! I'm excited to share about a community that deeply impacted our family during our travels to Sri Lanka this year in 2025. Through a dear friend, Roshantha, we met a Pastor, named Steven, who serves the community in Knuckles, Sri Lanka (a mountain range).

We spent time in the Alakola area with Roshantha, Steven, and his family. Alakola is a government-owned tea plantation estate, which has been neglected and is very run-down. During our stay, we were able to meet the locals and get an understanding of their daily lives. They are a humble, generous community of people who welcomed us with love and kindness. The teachers of the government-run school have such a big heart and go above and beyond to provide their best possible to the children.

The money that is raised here will go directly to this community to help the children buy shoes, backpacks, and school supplies, and support Pastor Steven as he serves the community. Please consider making even a small donation. Every dollar goes a long way in Sri Lanka.
