Hello, I'm Alaa, a former software engineer, husband to Sofia, and father to Youssef ,Basheer and Layane. Our lives were upended by the recent conflict in the Gaza Strip. The war not only took away my job but also destroyed our home, leaving us displaced and living in tents in Rafah.

The devastation we've faced is beyond words. Watching our home reduced to rubble and having to flee for safety has been a harrowing experience. As a family, we're struggling to cope with the loss of our livelihoods and the uncertainty of the future.

we navigate life in the refugee centers of Rafah, the reality of living in tents weighs heavily on us. The conditions are challenging, with limited access to clean water, sanitation, and adequate shelter. Every day is a struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy amidst the chaos of displacement. Yet, amidst these hardships, we find solace in the support of our community and the resilience of our spirits. Your contribution will provide us with the resources needed to improve our living conditions and rebuild our lives from the ground up. Together, we can turn these tents into homes and restore a sense of dignity and stability to our family.

Despite the challenges, we refuse to lose hope. Sofia and I are determined to rebuild our lives for the sake of our son, Youssef. He dreams of a better future, one where he can pursue his education without fear and have opportunities to thrive.
