Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts on behalf of our beloved family friends, Al and Charlotte Bailey, who tragically lost everything in the Altadena fire. Al and Charlotte, known for their endless kindness and generosity, are retired and had called their Altadena home for over 40 years. That home was their sanctuary, filled with a lifetime of memories, and now it is gone. Thankfully, they made it out safely, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming.

I have had the privilege of knowing this beautiful family for over 27 years and shared a special bond with their eldest daughter, Charel, as my college roommate at Long Beach State University. During visits to their Altadena home, I was always greeted with the warmth of their hearts and the love that radiated through their family. Their impact on the Altadena community has been immense, and learning they lost everything in the fire, along with so many others, was deeply heartbreaking.

The Baileys have been pillars of their community, consistently offering their time, love, and resources to anyone in need—whether family, friends, or strangers. They are the heart of Altadena, always giving selflessly to others. Now, it’s our turn to help them during their time of need.

The funds raised will go toward supporting Al & Charlotte during this challenging time.
