Help Ajmer Singh's Family in Crisis
Donation protected
Ajmer Singh, a 31-year-old male, was visiting from India and came to California looking for work when he was in a car accident. He was crossing the street and was hit by an SUV on Dec. 29, 2024 by an uninsured driver.
His entire family including his wife Navjit Kaur, his 2 children Mankirat, aged 5 and Nimrat, aged 6, as well as his parents are all in Amritsar, India. His father has long been retired, his mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and his wife is a stay-at-home mom. He is the only working family member, who came to the US for hopes of getting a good job and building a better life for his family.
Ajmer is currently in critical condition at the hospital and it is unclear if he will ever regain full use of his body. According to the doctors, at best, he may regain the use of 1/2 of his body and this will take anywhere between 1 month and 1 year.
Family and friends are trying to raise $40,000 to help him out. He has an outstanding loan of $25,000 which he took to cover his expenses to come to the US and to support his family in his absence. We are asking for your help to help him cover the cost of this loan, plus a small amount of money to cover medical expenses. As you can imagine, healthcare costs in the US, even temporarily, can be extremely high.
We are asking for your kindness and generosity to help this family regain some semblance of financial security. Their beloved Ajmer may never return home the same as he left, but you can help them through this difficult and challenging time of their lives while he recovers.
Ajmer's family is sending thank you's, love and blessings for all of you.
