About the family:

"I'm Aysha, 19 years old. Gaza was our home, but right now a warzone. My brother Ahmed, 20, dreams of being a doctor, but the constant shelling keeps him awake all night. Amjad, my 13-year-old brother, used to love playing soccer, but the bombs make it too dangerous to even step outside. My parents, their faces etched with worry, struggle to find enough food to feed us all. And Futoun, my 17-year-old sister, who used to write beautiful poetry, can't hold a pen anymore – her hands tremble too much from fear".

Situation:

Living in Gaza has become a relentless nightmare, filled with constant bombings and the overwhelming fear of death. Before the war, we enjoyed simple joys, secure homes, and enough food. Now, we struggle daily for food, clean water, and basic needs, with the harsh sun beating down as we search for sustenance. Our once comfortable homes are now in ruins, and evacuation feels like an impossible dream. Leaving Palestine breaks our hearts, but survival is our only hope. Our war-torn journey has been a brutal one. Fleeing from Bani Suhaila, we found refuge in a Khan Yunis shelter school, only to face hunger. Some days, even food was a distant dream. Rafah offered temporary solace, but then came the destruction of our own home. We were forced to build a makeshift shelter with mere stones, exposed to relentless mosquitoes and the threat of disease. We're tired, yearning for a life free from constant displacement and fear.
