Hello, my name is Aimee. If you know me, you know that I do not ask for help, however, my family and I are in need. I had surgery in September and was out of work for 2 months. I am still recovering physically and have been struggling to make ends meet, on less than full pay. Trying to cope with a recent loss, and, Friday night, my apartment had an electrical fire in the basement. National Grid pulled all electrical meters, and we are not allowed back in until a full inspection and repairs are made. We were lucky as there was no damage to our apartment. Tonight, our apartment was burglarized. I am trying to raise money to find a new home (apartment) for my son, my dogs and myself to get us into a better and safer living environment. I understand it’s the holiday season and things are hard for everyone, but, any little bit helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
