Please help keep our dear Auntie Ai safe and healthy.

We recently discovered that our long-distance elderly aunt ("Auntie Ai") was living in an unsafe living situation and had dropped down to 67 pounds. An individual close to our aunt supposedly hired an unlicensed caretaker who has been taking advantage of Auntie Ai. Among other things, we learned that the caretaker sold Auntie Ai's car (claiming it was a "gift") and pocketed the money, charged our aunt for the caretaker's meals, and piggybacked on our aunt's finances. The caretaker also took Auntie Ai's cell phone, custom hearing aid charger, and medicare card, among other things, and has refused to return them.

We also discovered that all of Auntie Ai's financial accounts have been diverted to the same individual who hired the caretaker. As a result, Auntie Ai has no access to any of her personal finances or banking. Since this heartbreaking discovery, our family has come together to protect and support Auntie Ai as she tries to heal from these traumatic events. Despite everything, Auntie Ai remains positive and grateful, and has been thriving physically and emotionally since reuniting with family. She is truly one of the kindest persons and brings such a bright energy into all of our lives.

We are raising funds to help support Auntie Ai's daily needs, monthly bills, medical needs, legal counsel, and replacing personal belongings and necessities. We are urgently asking for support to help Auntie Ai get back on her feet and prevent this situation from happening again in the future.
