Aiden is a friend I know from school, and he recently went through something no one should ever have to experience. While riding his electric scooter on 14th Street, he was suddenly assaulted by two high schoolers. They took everything he had with him—his jacket, AirPods, phone, and charger—and left him badly beaten. The attack was so severe that Aiden ended up with a fractured cheek bone and a fractured wrist. It’s been a traumatic time for him, and seeing a friend go through this has been heartbreaking.
