HI. My name is Erin Pickup, and I am setting up this account to raise funds for my family as my son Aiden (age 21) is battling stage 4 liver cancer. He was diagnosed in 2021, and the cancer was already spreading to his lungs. Since last year it has grown and also spread to his lymph nodes and testicles.  He has undergone immunotherapy, chemotherapy and radiation with no positive results.

Aiden lives at home with his parents, Brandon and Erin, and a younger sister, Piper. Aiden also has a 3 year old daughter, Penelope, that he shares with his girlfriend, Allison. 

This has been a challenging time for my family and me; caring for a sick child, no matter how old, is not something you ever imagine doing. The time away from work and the emotional and physical presence required for caring for someone with cancer and the other members of your family can be difficult.

I am asking for support to help lighten the financial burden as we have drastically reduced our income to care for Aiden during this time. The funds will go towards living and travel expenses to the hospital and maintaining our vehicle so that he can make it to his appointments.
