I created this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother David and his wife Jeanette (Milani's mother and father) due to the unexpected and traumatic loss of their beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Milani.

Milani was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome and has endured many surgeries since she was an infant. Through it all, she has remained a fighter with so much sass and a smile.

On Thursday, November 6th, she underwent another surgery to have her trachea removed. Unfortunately, post-surgery, Milani experienced complications that left her oxygen deprived. She continued to fight and held on as long as she could. Many family and friends came to say goodbye. God chose to take her home on November 9th. Nobody expects to ever lose a child. The idea is unfathomable.
