I am Adam, and this is my brother Ahmed Al-Sawalihi.

Together, we carry the responsibility of supporting our family of seven. Our father is gravely ill, and every day we struggle to provide for him and for those who depend on us.

Our home is filled with both love and hardship. We have four brothers — the eldest among them is also battling illness — and one little sister, the light of our lives, whose innocent smile gives us strength in the darkest moments.

The war has stolen our safety, our stability, and much of what we once had. Yet, it has not taken away our will to fight for our family’s survival. Every day is a battle to find food, medicine, and hope.

After God, you are our only hope — the lifeline that can help us protect our family and give them a chance to live with dignity. Your kindness could be the light that pierces through the darkness surrounding us.
