My life changed overnight when an accidental house fire left me without a safe place to call home. I lost a lot of my belongings, and without homeowners insurance, I’m now displaced with nowhere to go—not just for myself, but for my pets as well. Right now, we’re sleeping in my car, and it’s not safe for any of us. My house has no power, and it’s just not livable.
