There was a fire in my building on 3/28. The sprinkler system flooded my apartment. Because of the water damage, loud, hot HVAC machines, and my walls being torn apart, my apartment is temporarily uninhabitable. I am currently displaced and unable to stay in my home while it is being restored. This situation has been overwhelming and stressful, and I am doing my best to manage everything as I wait for repairs to be completed.

Right now, I am paying out of pocket for a hotel room, food, and transportation while my insurance claim is being processed. These unexpected expenses have created a huge financial burden for me, and I am struggling to cover my immediate needs.
