Help After 8 years of full time Caring for my Mom.
$1,095 raised of $3K
My mom's (Kimberly Dianne Bryant Mitchem) passing happened so fast on January 19th 2026, though she did live a long life of pain and suffering. She was so strong though. She stayed compassionate and thoughtful and kind through even her roughest of times. I was her full time caretaker for the last 8 years and was by her side every second which was such a blessing. I put everything on hold for her and now I'm needing some help due to not having any income while taking care of her which she deserved every single second of my loving care and comfort because she was such a great, special and sweet mom and person. Her dad was nice enough to let us stay with him while I cared for her since we had nowhere else to go. Things are complicated and personal with that and I won't name any names out of respect for them. But they made things way harder than it ever should have been. Then I was struck with another loss when my grandpa Ernest Steven Mitchem (dad's dad) passed away on January 29th just ten days apart. I'm badly needing help also to get back on my feet. I don't even have an ID. When I say everything got put on hold for mom, I mean everything. I need help with rent, getting my birth certificate and ID, then I can apply and get back working.
I hope the best for all of you and your families. Hold your loved ones tight everyday. There's no love like the love mom shows. Thank you in advance for anyone that can help. Words won't be able to express my gratitude.
Her first born, Derek Mitchem
