Save the Salvage Yard Fundraiser- Rebuilding AF&T after fire

On Saturday, a devastating fire destroyed the shop at AF&T Salvage. The office, tools and equipment are a total loss, leaving us unable to operate. There was no insurance on the building. As the only salvage yard in the area, this loss is not just a setback for our team but for the entire community.

Since 1974, AF&T Salvage has been a cornerstone of the Gallatin Valley. For over 50 years, we’ve helped keep vehicles running at prices hardworking families and businesses can afford, while ensuring junk vehicles are disposed of in an environmentally responsible way, preserving the beauty and delicate eco-system we cherish here in Montana.

The automotive industry is rapidly changing, and access to affordable parts will become increasingly crucial for our community to remain strong and resilient. With rising costs and limited options for affordable vehicle repairs, AF&T Salvage is an essential business for keeping Gallatin Valley running.

How You Can Support Us

Unfortunately there was no insurance on the building or its contents. We lost everything in the shop, including around 30, 000 in personal employee tools and toolboxes

Donations will go towards replacing employees tools, expenses related to the fire, and establishing a temporary office so we can reopen as quickly as possible.
