Help Malia Afeaki's long road to recovery

Hi, my name is Bec. On the weekend my niece suffered a bleed on the brain after playing rugby a game she loved. She was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery.

She was placed in an induced coma to allow her brain to recover and the swelling to reduce. The doctors are unsure to what her future will hold, she maybe in a vegative state, may not be able to walk again and may have memory loss. Just 17 years old and in the fight of her life.

During this difficult time Nicky is trying to be strong for Afeaki and the other 4 kids and one in the way. I am wanting to help relieve some of that pressure by helping to raise funds. This will help support them during this financially during this difficult time. They have not been able to work as they are staying long hours at the hospital. Any costs associated with rehab and any other specialists that will be required.

Please help support my niece she is a enthusiastic athlete who has made several reps teams, travelling to Australia to play in a Harmony 9s tournament and was also selected to play in Tonga this year. She is easy going and a joker. Our hearts are breaking right now due to her uncertain future but we know she is strong and a fighter.
