Help Adrian & Hakko's Flood Recovery Efforts
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Deborah and my sister and her husband live in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Yesterday, they received a "1-in-1,000-year rainfall event" with almost 26 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. They are still expected to receive even more rain today. You can read more about the flooding here: https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/12/weather/florida-flash-flood-fort-lauderdale/index.html
This flood has caused extensive damage to many homes, including Adrian and Hakko's. Sadly, their home has been pretty badly flooded, leaving them with the daunting task of mitigating the damage. It's a difficult and expensive process, and they need all the help they can get. The money will go to replacing the bottom two feet of drywall and baseboards in the entire house, mold remediation/sanitization as well as replacing some of their furniture and personal items that couldn't be saved.
Even if you can only donate a small amount, please consider doing so. Every little bit helps and can make a huge difference in their recovery efforts. If you can't donate, we understand but please consider sharing this GoFundMe so more people can see it and we can help them cover some of the cost of the clean up.
