My name is Adilene, I am 37 years old, and I am a single parent of three children—ages 17, 11, and 9. Recently, I was diagnosed with stage III cervical cancer and stage II breast cancer. Since April, I have been unable to work due to the effects of chemotherapy and radiation, which have made daily life extremely difficult. Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to secure financial assistance, and my application for state support is still pending.

As a result, my bills have been piling up, and my electricity has been shut off. My most urgent need right now is to get my electric service restored so my children and I can have a safe and comfortable home.
