My name is Adilene, I am 37 years old, and I am a single parent of three children—ages 17, 11, and 9. Recently, I was diagnosed with stage III cervical cancer and stage II breast cancer. Since April, I have been unable to work due to the effects of chemotherapy and radiation, which have made daily life extremely difficult. Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to secure financial assistance, and my application for state support is still pending.
As a result, my bills have been piling up, and my electricity has been shut off. My most urgent need right now is to get my electric service restored so my children and I can have a safe and comfortable home. I am also struggling to cover other essential bills while I focus on my treatment and recovery. While I am grateful for the support of my family and my children, the financial burden is overwhelming, and I am reaching out for help.
Any support will go directly toward restoring our electricity and covering our most pressing expenses. Your kindness will help us get through this incredibly challenging time and allow me to focus on healing and caring for my kids. Thank you for considering a donation or sharing our story.
