Support for Adela as David Battles Illness

Support for crisis

This is a fundraiser for a very close family that is having a financial straits. My first cousin Adela Espino Gurley is married to David Gurley since May 31, 1997.

For over 6 years, David has had liver failure caused by a medication, he had to stop working since then because various complications due to his health history (diabetic and more). Since last year Adela has to quit working full time to become part time only during weekends, because David’s health worsening and need more carefully care at home.

Last few months David has been hospitalized because one of the body chemicals affect his brain, making him been unconscious constantly per hours, need special treatments. David was at CMC Main in Charlotte for around 5 weeks, and last week Adela was told he was given up for dead, medical science can do nothing more for him, he was sent home in ambulance, hospice care, of course Adela is beside him taking care of him the most she can.

Some relatives helping when they can on days she needs to go to work, if not she does not go. Adela only basically work when she can is taking a toll on her; David needs special care, special food in the meantime waiting for the call from Lord.

Reason I am doing this fundraiser, also to help her to prepare funeral arrangements, because could happen anytime.
