Help Addie Lamb Attend HOBY WLC!

Hello, my name is Addie Lamb. I would love to be able to complete the HOBY WLC program. I love interacting with others and would love this opportunity! I have personally struggled with personal issues in my mental health. These issues have taught me how to persevere and have shaped my compassion for others. I feel so much more confident and would love to continue growing as a person. I feel this program would benefit me growing as a leader. I wish to make a change in the world and would truly be grateful if you would help me fulfill the potential I have yet to embrace!

The following is a paragraph written by someone I am truly grateful to. Chloe helped me when I was in a dark place, and not only that, she helped me grow as a person. She is one of the main reasons I want to complete this program. Her guidance made me believe I had the strength to complete tasks, even when faced with adversity. I am so glad for her help and just wish there was a way I could show her my gratitude!

I met Addie during the HOBY Colorado 2025 seminar, where I served as the Director of Programs. For the past 5 years, I’ve worked closely with ambassadors and watched their transformations throughout the seminar. Addie immediately stood out to me as someone who is resilient, charismatic, and wise beyond her years. Her emotional intelligence and ability to engage her peers in large group exercises demonstrated her leadership skills in action. Addie was very active in all aspects of HOBY CO, and my discussions with her inspired me. Her strength and determination taught me how to continue to lead, even in the face of adversity. She reminds me why I come back to volunteer every year with HOBY, and I strongly believe that she would be an incredible candidate for WLC.
