On the night of August 30th, my younger cousin Adam was brutally ambushed and attacked. This happened just weeks before his 16th birthday. He was stabbed five times, Adam was rushed to a trauma center via ambulance and immediately rushed into emergency surgery. Adam was put into a medically induced coma and ultimately had 1 of his kidneys removed due to the trauma. Shortly after, he needed a second surgey due to an uncontrolled internal hemorrhage; the doctors were able to stabilize him and get the bleeding under control.

While Adam is in the hospital healing and recovering from his surgeries, his mother is asking for any token of financial support from the community. Adams 11 year old brother is still attending school and is needing someone to care for him. Our aunt is struggling because she must commute across town in order to take care of both of her sons while also taking time off from work. Adam will also be needing assistance and therapy once he gets out of the hospital. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.

Any contributions will assist with the expenses of preparing the house for Adam’s return and to show support to Adam’s mother in anyway would be greatly appreciated.

The donations will be used for medical expenses not covered by the insurance, to help Adam’s mother financially while she takes time off from work to care for her sons, rent expenses, food, & any unseen bills that may arise.
