My dear friend, Adam, is facing an unimaginable battle: the fight to bring his 8-year-old son, Zayne, home. Zayne, a bright and beautiful boy with autism, means the world to Adam. Despite initially being non verbal, Adam worked with him to help find his voice. Their bond is unbreakable. Recently, without proper legal consent and with minimal notice, Zayne's mother made the sudden decision to relocate to PEI for a new job, taking Zayne with her. Imagine the heartbreak Adam felt when his son, his world, was moved hundreds of miles away. Adam pleaded with her to let Zayne finish his school year, to consider the impact on a child who thrives on routine and familiarity. He even had an emergency hearing where the judge ordered the child not to be removed from the area. Unfortunately, the judge found that she had already left with his son. Now, Adam needs our help to secure legal representation and fight for Zayne's return to Belleville, where he is surrounded by his loving father, sister, grandfather, and extended family – a support system crucial for Zayne's well-being. Adam is a pillar of our community, always putting others first and offering a helping hand. Now it's our turn to help him. He is the kindest, most genuine person that I know.
