Help Abigail Walk Again
Donation protected
Its that time of the year again!
We are back in the UK taking Abby to NeuroKinex Gatwick for our longest stint ever - 6 weeks of full time intensive physio, 5 days a week, up to 5 hours per day.
Unfortunately there is still no cure for Spinal Cord Injury and ongoing physical rehabilitation remains the only option for Abby to maintain and improve her body's condition.
On a positive note NeuroKinex Gatwick recently took part in a medical tial of a new device that provided significant and lasting improvement to the participants, and it is hoped that Abby will have access to this new device and treatment in Summer 2026. You can see more about this trial here: https://nrtimes.co.uk/breakthrough-uk-trial-brings-paralysis-treatment-a-step-closer/

Abby's Story....
In July 2021 the Clark family suffered a devastating car accident, resulting in the death of their son Oliver (aged 1) and the paralysis of their daughter, Abigail (aged 4 at the time, now aged 8).
Both Vincent and Lee were also severely injured, requiring intensive care treatment.
Since the accident, Vincent and Lee have been doing intensive rehabilitation to regain their movement and strength, and although it will take several years of treatment, they are both expected to make good recoveries, though both will have lifelong physical limitations. Lee now has several metal plates in both her ankles and an elbow.
Abigail has suffered a spinal cord injury (SCI) for which there is no treatment. She is currently paralysed and can neither move or feel from below her waist. She must also catheterize several times a day due to paralysis of the bladder.
NeuroKinex is a private intuition dedicated to the treatment of children with injuries such as Abby's. We do not receive any NHS or public funding for this.
Your donations will go towards:
The cost of the intensive, full time weekly sessions at NeuroKinnex
Accommodation close to the centre
Transport to and from the centre
Any help that you can provide to the Clark family will be greatly appreciated.
