Justice for Abby and Her Children
Donation protected
I am seeking urgent help for my sister-in-law, Abigail Eden. Our family is not one who likes to ask for help, but it’s come to that point now. There have been gross false allegations accusing Abby of child abuse and a protection order has been served against her under these false pretenses. She doesn’t know the next time she will be able to see or speak to her children. Any parent can imagine the heartbreak she is feeling at the moment.
Within the past few weeks, one of Abby’s children has been suffering from a mental health crisis. Despite Abby’s extensive efforts to provide her child with all necessary means and care to overcome this challenge, it is now being manipulated and used as a means to take custody from her. This morning, Abigail went to her children’s school to discuss her child’s mental health crisis and was told she was not able to see or speak with her kids. Administration told her she would need to go to the police department for more information, so she went right away. Upon arrival, she was escorted around until she was finally presented with the paperwork disclosing the allegations against her. To her horror, several false allegations of abuse have been made against her.
Abby is a single mother who works selflessly as a Pediatric Nurse Aid in Columbus, Ohio. She does all of this while also pursuing a degree in nursing to better the lives of her and her children. She already works tirelessly to make ends meet and provide the best for her children. This event will undoubtedly put a financial and emotional strain on her.
The accuser has already been to court for physically abusing one of Abby’s children and pled guilty. I have seen firsthand the anxiety that comes over the kids’ faces when they know it’s time to leave their mom’s house. Abby has suffered years of financial and mental abuse at this point, and this is a gross injustice. Nevertheless, she has continued to support her children and love them unconditionally, and they clearly love her just as much.
I am pleading for any sort of assistance you can offer, financial or legal, to help this family. They have already been through enough. If you are not in a position to help financially, sharing this fund will help immensely!
