Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My name is Tony Napoli and I'm reaching out on behalf of my beloved father-in law, Abelardo Marraro, a man whose strength and love have been the foundation of our family for as long as I can remember. Dad has always been the rock we lean on—the sole provider for three family members, including myself, and a doting grandfather to his two precious grandchildren who light up his world. He's the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need, and now, heartbreakingly, it's our turn to ask for help for him.
Just a few weeks ago, our lives were turned upside down when Dad suffered a severe stroke. It robbed him of mobility on the right side of his body, leaving him unable to walk, use his right arm, or perform the everyday tasks he once did with ease. He's currently in the hospital, fighting every day through intensive therapy and rehabilitation to regain his independence. The doctors are optimistic about his recovery, but it's going to be a long, challenging road ahead—one filled with medical appointments, physical therapy, and unwavering determination.
As the sole breadwinner, Dad's absence from work has left us in a precarious financial situation. We're struggling to cover our monthly bills: rent, utilities, groceries, and other essentials that keep our household running. With him still in the hospital, these costs are piling up, and we're doing everything we can to stay afloat while focusing on his healing. We don't want him to worry about finances during this critical time—he deserves to concentrate solely on getting better so he can come home to the family he loves so much.
That's why we've started this GoFundMe campaign. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward paying our monthly bills and easing the burden until Dad can return to "normal life". Your generosity could mean the difference between stability and hardship for us right now. If you can't donate, please share this page with your network—your support in any form means the world.
we are anxiously waiting the day he can return home to be with his family and grandchildren.
With gratitude,
Tony Napoli and the Marraro Family
