My name is Abeer Alward Musallam, I am 23 years old from G4za. I live with my family of seven.

On October 19, 2023, the residential area where we lived in northern G4za was completely bombed, severely damaging our home. We miraculously survived but had to flee our house. We first stayed for a month at a relative’s home in the north, then we were forced to move repeatedly ، eight times within the southern G4za Strip ، living in tents and unstable shelters. Each time, we had to start from scratch without basic necessities.

I am a graphic design student and have completed one year of university; I have three more years to achieve my dream of graduating. I am highly talented in art and have a deep passion for drawing. I also dream of opening my own art gallery one day. Unfortunately, I have lost all my paintings, art supplies, and colors due to the conflict—I have lost everything. Your support will help me rebuild my life and pursue my dream despite these devastating losses.

This war has taken everything from me ، my home, my grandmother, my aunt, my cousins ، so many loved ones. I refuse to lose anyone else.

My grandmother was the most loving person in our lives, and losing her left a deep emotional scar on all of us.

We are currently living under extremely harsh financial conditions. During the war, my sister was injured when a glass window fell on her head. My father suffered multiple moderate injuries, and my siblings were also wounded by shattered glass.

My father suffers from a fractured back, spinal injuries in multiple vertebrae, chronic joint pain, and gout.

My mother has heart muscle disease, chronic hypertension, irritable bowel syndrome, a slipped disc, and also gout.

I suffer from migraines and a cervical disc issue.

My youngest brother has chronic breathing issues and sinusitis.

I lost my closest friends and dearest loved ones in this war.

I lost my sense of safety, my laughter, and my joy.

I lost the people who truly understood me, who loved me unconditionally ، the ones who meant the most to me.

During our displacement in Nuseir4t, we narrowly escaped death several times in direct attacks.

We lost our home.

We lost our family shop ، our only source of income.

We lost our shelter and our sense of peace and security.

My dream is to return to university and complete my education in graphic design. I want to build a future not just for myself, but to support my family during this incredibly difficult time.

We have no stable source of income. We struggle to afford basic needs like food, medicine, and hygiene supplies.
