Hi,
My name is Maëva and I'm from France. I just open this pot to help Abdulrhman's family to get out of Gaza and join him in Egypt, where he is for the moment safe. It's a family of 7 members with Abdul Rahman (23 yo), Mahmoued (47 yo), Zena (38 yo) Waed (21 yo) Marah (18), Mohamed (16 yo), Rahaf (9 yo) and Hassan (6 yo).
I asked him to introduce himself and his story :
My name is Abdul Rahman. I am 23 years old. I graduated from UNRWA colleges with a very good grade in technical management. I made my way like any young man looking for love in life and stability. This was from the end of 2021. I worked in the field of web development and electronic systems through freelance websites and several companies. I established my own center to teach children private lessons, and my dreams were to live in peace and build a beautiful house, so I took this step and built part of my own house.

At the end of September and the beginning of October came the war of extermination on Gaza, where the occupation destroyed the private center since the beginning of the war, which cost me an amount of approximately 10,000 dollars, and after that the occupation forced us to leave our homes and move from them since the month of December after destroying many homes.

The occupation destroyed our home, which cost us the rest of my father’s life to build, and we lived in displacement camps for at least 20 days. A day without shelter and little food, and after providing a simple tent, we stayed in it in the city of Rafah, and then I tried to collect a sum of money and fled to Egypt due to serious diseases that I had previously contracted from my lungs, and the smoke of rockets and explosives prevented me from breathing. We were displaced many times, so that the times of displacement exceeded 5.
Many times or more, many of my brothers were afflicted with hepatitis due to malnutrition. In addition to my story, my elderly grandfather lived with us and died due to lack of food and weak immunity during the war, and my grandmother survived.
I don't want to ask for your help to complete my dream and graduate. My family escaped a genocidal war and I will be grateful to you.
