We are seeking help to provide Abdul Rahim Rasooli, an Afghan refugee that has come to the United States of America seeking asylum, having to flee his country from persecution, torture, and death because his father aided the United States military in the Afghan War. He has come to the United States and has become a very honest and well-loved person amongst his new friends, family, and coworkers.

He was at his immigration court for a master hearing to grant him his green card, and after he was free to go, ICE detained him and has transferred him to a detention center in Bakersfield, CA. We, as his community family, friends, and coworkers, know and love him, and to a lot of us, he has become quite the model citizen.
