Hello my name is Abdel Rahman El Franji I am a type-one diabetic and a genocide victim from Gaza. This fundraising is to help me, my wife, and my two little kids rebuild our life that was snatched from us in the genocide that is taking place in Gaza.
Because of the genocide my beautiful home was bombed and levelled to the ground with all our belongings, memories and all what me and my wife have worked for throughout the years thus losing shelter for my family. Thank God I was pulled alive from under the rubble of my destroyed house.
I have been working as an officer for years but now I have no source of income as I have lost my job and my wife who is a teacher lost hers too for the school that she used to work in was bombed too and what is left of it serves as a shelter for displaced families.
We had to compress our entire existence into a backpack walk miles on foot from north to south under the mercy of the snipers to reach Rafah then Rafah borders and leave Gaza with only our passports, some clothes and one container of insulin on our possession.
I have two children; Joma who is five and Mariam who is one year old both are suffering from severe PTSD symptoms and respiratory problems due to inhaling large amounts of phosphorus gas. While on our way to Rafah crossing the car that we were in was hit by phosphorus gas bombs.
With a chronic disease, two sick children and a head injury, I have to start rebuilding a decent life for my displaced family but I need your help and support.
It is easy to get into despair and give up on life but I still have faith in God and humanity to pull me and my family back up to provide a home, medical care for me and my children and a solid financial start.
Bless you all
Best regards
Abdel Rahman and family

My name is Shirin Azarvan,
I have set up this Go Fund Me for Abdel and his family and will be making bulk transfers to them, hoping to reduce transaction costs. At any point I am happy to prove that they are receiving the money donated here.
I know Mahadia, Abdel's wife, from university 6 years ago. I cannot describe to you the relief I felt when I heard from her after she escaped Gaza and eventually reunited with her husband. Operation Olive Branch is doing wonders for Palestinian families, and I wanted to do whatever I can to help Abdel, Mahadia and their kids.
To you who is reading this: Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. Thank you for helping all of us remember that not all is hopeless. You are a glimmer of goodness.
