“The Wildmans Need Your Help”
Donation protected
Greg Wildman was unexpectantly taken from our world on Sunday, November 3rd. This is an enormous shock to everyone who knew him, but most especially to his grieving family.
It has been a difficult week for Abby and the girls, and there have been many who have questioned this sudden and heartbreaking loss. His circle of loved ones have been in disbelief.
Greg was at his father's home in St. Hedwig, where he was complaining of a severe headache. After taking pain relievers and laying down to rest, Greg would not wake. His father called the ambulance, and it was later discovered that Greg had an intracranial hemorrhage, a brain bleed. It is speculated that this began after a bad fall in which he hit his head, leaving a noticable cut and a bump. It was a horrible accident that had an unexpected and tragic outcome. His family and friends are heartbroken.
Greg leaves behind his wife Abby and their 2 daughters, Chesney and Whitney. This sweet family was in a time of change when the accident happened, which only makes this more shocking, confusing, and heartbreaking.
Greg was a gregarious, adventurous husband, father, and friend. He was gifted in all things technology, and he loved spending time tinkering with his many vehicle projects. The family loved spending time outdoors near any body of water. Recently, things with Greg and his family had changed, and he and Abby were discussing a permanent separation. Because of this, financials and accounts were shifting and changing. Sadly, Greg has left Abby and the girls with no access to specific accounts, a mountain of debt, the loss of their home, and many unforeseen expenses. The loss of Greg was so unexpected that his family was left without proper plans in place, and there is no way for them to repair this in a timely manner. Mourning and in shock, the family has a dire need to help cover a small celebration of life and many unexpected bills and debts. Even groceries and gas have been difficult to afford during this time. This situation has kept me up late worrying for their well-being. Because Abby and the girls do not have much support from either side of their families, I decided to reach out to the community for them. They have been strong and very hesitant to accept help, but they do need it. As the family works toward sorting out these complications, your donation of any amount would be so appreciated.
A plan for a celebration of life will soon follow, and the family will share details. Thank you for keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers.
