Hey, I’m Abbey
I wanted to share a bit of my journey with you
I’m currently studying theology and counselling, and I’m now in the final stages of my degree. It’s been such a meaningful journey—one that has stretched me, grown me, and confirmed that I’m called to support people in a deeper way.
I’ve been incredibly grateful to receive significant funding already, which has made it possible for me to get this far. Honestly, I wouldn’t be here without that support.
But now I’m at the final stretch… and I need a bit of help to finish what I’ve started.
I need to raise £8,550 to cover my final two years, and right now I’m aiming to raise £4,275.
A Step of Faith
Choosing this path wasn’t just about getting a degree. It was an act of faith. I stepped into theology and counselling because I feel a genuine calling to walk alongside people — especially in their mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
I’ve seen how many people are quietly struggling…
feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or alone.
And I want to be someone who can sit with people in those moments — to listen, to support, and to help create safe spaces where they can just be. This is more than a qualification for me; it's preparation for a life of serving others.
My Heart & Vision
I want people to feel seen, supported, and safe.
Looking ahead, I hope to:
• Support students who are struggling with their mental health
• Work alongside universities and local communities
• Provide counselling that is accessible, compassionate, and dignified
• Bridge the gap between faith, wellbeing, and professional support
Because there is such a real need right now. So many young people are navigating pressure, identity, and expectations — and often doing it alone. I want to be part of creating spaces where they don’t have to.
How You Can Help
If you feel able to support me, I would be so grateful.
Whether that’s:
• Giving whatever you can — every amount really does make a difference
• Sharing this with others
• Keeping me in your thoughts and prayers
It all means more than I can say.
❤️ Thank You
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for being part of my journey — in whatever way that looks. Your support isn’t just helping me finish a degree; it's helping me step into something that I truly believe will make a difference in people’s lives.
